Sorry Daniel,
I meant to say “Stretched Sonnet” instead of extended. It is one of the more than 50 types of sonnets I have in my form definitions (all garnered from the net, books, and writer input).
It is defined as any sonnet of 16 or more lines where the author could not contain his/her thoughts within the parameters of the standard 14 line sonnet.
Thanks for the read and the comments. It was difficult but another challenge answered.

Hi Larry, Finally getting a break from eight days of snow removing, and chanced upon your recent offering. Nicely done and more so because of it's rhythmic rhyming pattern.
Wring any Abecedarian - as I might term it - besides the official form - is always difficult, as well I know, having written quite a few myself over the years. You made it even more tricky, with the strict regimen you imposed upon yourself. Keeping to your theme, was also tricky. Well done! Accolades were earned and well deserved.
I have had little time for writing of late, thanks to Mother Nature's whims! I'm surrounded by snow piles between eight and ten feet high and goodness only knows how wide! All shovelled by hand - my driveway is one hundred feet long and thirty feet wide, but I hate having others do the work when I am still capable! Besides which, I snow ploughed in Toronto for over 35 years, so I'm very critical of work done by others - at a price! Worn out two plastic shovels and winter ain't over yet! So we're told!
Will hope to drop in now and again until I can find time to truly browse through the site.
Ciao for now. Denis.
