Good day, As an update to my last post, it seems like the latest round of security patches had some bad interactions with the forum code. Peter had taken it offline July 18 just so there was something displaying beyond a database error (which isn’t really a database error), and luckily, he was able to beat this back into function again, and it has been back online for a few days now. Even though the site is functional, the forum software is very outdated, and sadly, I need to close it down soon. Peter has been limping it along, and on his own server for many years, and it's no longer advantageous to keep it going at this point. I'd really hoped after our split in 2009 that I'd find my writing voice and motivation to join in and interact on a regular basis, but it just never happened. I'm really sorry too - you all know how much time and effort I put into it from '03 to '09. I learned so much about html (adding headers and footers and offering 'skin' options on how it displayed for members). But, the most fun was learning how to best interact with all the various personalities over the years, and provide the best crits I could regarding the writing, NOT the people. THAT was always my intention. A friendly forum, with many sub-forums to peruse and interact in. Peter messaged the site is back and to test it. He suggests we set an end date of Sep 1st to formally shut it down. I suggest we go and copy any works you have there that you'd like to put in your own files offline. Again, i am really sorry. With the rise of social media this past decade plus, forum boards like Mosaic Musings are just not a thing anymore. 😑 We DID have some GREAT critique sessions, and a LOT of fantastic poetry came from our dedication, in addition to the challenges and general interactions all around. I will always be grateful for that, and all of you! -Lori aka Cleo
