Your e-mail welcome to the site was just so nice; thank you. As I scrolled down the members I saw many familiar names. I look forward to reviewing my knowledge of Daniel and Ladygrace and others as welln as meeting new writers. I've been around the poetry sites for three or four years. I am retired (English Teacher and then Personnel Direct in the sugar industry)...got stepkids and grandkids and great grandkids and a marvelous wife, Maggie. Lovesd poetry and music most of my life. Wrote some in the 70's...then stopped...and took it up again three or four years ago. Usually write in free verse but try other forms once in awhile. So hello!  ace |

Hello Ross and WELCOME TO MM!
   I look forward to interacting with you!   I think I recognize your name from PV (?) - sadly, I rarely had time to 'play' there (when it was busier)... As you might imagine MM keeps me far too busy.  !Are you mostly a poet (or do you dabble in prose too)?  Thanks for the bio - I'm not as strong in FV, but it's nice to be able to welcome and interact in both styles and we have a great mix of poets.    I too have been writing poetry for about 4 years (since October 2002). The 70's poetry - wow / like far out/ do have some oldies to share? Daniel will probably reply on his own, but his post was just an error on my part. He was visiting and used my computer to log on, and when I logged on myself I failed to notice I was logged on as Daniel, and I could not delete the post. So that was not from him and I have not changed taht much LOL

Wow! What a shock to find that I'd already greeted Ace before I knew he was here!
[ I did remind Cyn before I was leaving this morning that I'd forgotten to log off... but I guess she's allowed to forget if I did, right!? ]  I'll be looking forward to reacquaint myself when I return home. It looks like my next few days are going to be travelling all over this part of WA to see scattered family, since I don't think we're going to be having a get-together because of various family circumstances! deLighting to see your name, Daniel
