We have submitted a bug report and a ticket for two items we have found with IPB:
The first is a request to see if there is a way to allow us to send the actual 'content' of any PM's in the email notification. Currently, the standard code does NOT include this option. But there may be a hack. The second is a bug (we believe) thread we just posted at Invision Beyond AND as a ticket to the client center (Let's see who responds first, LOL): "We noticed that with PM's only the person in the "TO" field gets a copy of the actual 'cc list of names'. Shouldn't everyone who gets a copy of the message also see the 'cc list of names' if the box "Hide CC recipients from others?" is NOT checked?" I don't want scads of emails, but I know some others much prefer to read PMs as emails, so the choice would be cool.  The cc info would certainly be useful and appropriate (there is an option box to hide the info if desired, anyway).  Fran |

Hi all.
Just to keep all informed: We've gotten a response back regarding one of two inquiries: 'We noticed that with PM's only the person in the "TO" field gets a copy of the actual 'cc list of names'. This has now been confirmed as a bug in the new version of IPB 2.1.5 that was uploaded in March. They have the fix in place for when they do their next release v2.2. I will keep all posted when that is scheduled to happen. I need to re-inquire about the other message, re: Content of PM in the emails as I haven't gotten a response to that one yet. Keep letting Peter or I know if you find more things.  Lori

My only other problem so far is really a hotmail issue. I have tried to archive messages but Hotmail doesn't like it for some reason and though I have attempted to send the attachment about four or five times it disappears into the ether. If I want to archive the messages, I'm going to have to change to a different email address. Nina |

I think Nina is corrent in identifying MS Hotmail as the problem - i use the archiving (in lieu of being able to download the text of PMs as they arrive) and, in HTML for, it works very well. Cheers, J. |
