Hi all. I was thinking of using a new logo for MM for products we might begin to sell. What do you think of these three below? Thanks Lori 1: Using a 9 pt font size one row 2: Using 9 pt font 2 rows 3. Using 11 pt font 2 rows and these are individual 'icons': and then something like: Mosaic MusingsMosaic MusingsMosaic Musings

Hey Lori,
Hard at work again I see! LOL
I like 1 & 2, 7 & 8. Although I think 8 needs some color. After all, we are the 'mosaic'! I think that implies color, variety and an aliveness that are all an integral part of MM.

Hi Cathy.
Thanks for popping in - this isn't to change our 'logo' - it's really to create something that we can use for paper goods and such for our store. It can't be too big or have too many colors (at least for pens). It would be a branding like for notebooks, mousepads, coffee mugs, water bottles and pens. That's my initial idea anyway....
For the larger items, we could probably use more color. I'll go and post up the logos that Jackie had designed on our previous version of IPB. Let me go find them and add them in....
Cheers Lori

There's a shop!?
I love your artwork. There's such elegance in the feather ones. The first three are all pleasing, and perhaps they would lend themselves well for various sizes of things. ???
The last ones are deliciously Egyptian. Classy.

Hi Kathy.
Sure, we have a store back at the homepage that we'll be adding items to (eventually) - currently, only our chapbooks are for sale there.... Here's a link to it: http://www.mosaicmusings.net/FORMgallery.htm
I had found the feather images a few years back but we never had a use for them.
The 3 Mosaic logos are actually designed by Jackie (Rosemerta), so three cheers to Jackie!
I had sent her the fairy one and she added in the 'Mosaic Musings' lettering for me from our previous version of Invision Power Board - that skin was called 'Fantasy Heaven'. The scroll was something I got from Paul, the person who designed what was to become our "Mosaic" default skin. It was orignally a black backround with different Navy images throughout, but I tweaked it to the blue, and replaced the post images with mosaic tiles and paintbrushes for the pips. He also designed the PJ Ingram skin, which I think is exclusive to MM at the moment. Have you tried any of the other skins yet? They're fun to switch around....
Cheers ~Cleo

Personally I think I like 1 & 3 for Mosaic Musings as they both fill the space more. All the feathers are very classy looking. As for the last ones they are all so lovely I wouldn't know which to choose. Great work Lori. Snow

Thanks Snow! I had a new idea: What about taking that pen with scroll image and adding two quotes wrapping around it, one from left and one from the right....? I'll see if it's something I can design, though I've never tried that....

Hello Lori,
I think #7, is perfect. It can be sized and resized to fit all the items that would be sellers on any site. Such as journal books (to keep the muse stirred) pen's, calenders books, mouse pads, canvas book bages, and tee shirts will be a biggy -
I am off to work right now, but I just got rid of my trainee so I will be back on later from work
Hugs, Liz
