Another Perfect Day
The day in June was so clear that I could feel the colour blue wraps itself like a shawl silk around my neck. Leaves on olive trees shone as belonging to another world, buttercups kissed my eyes, while wild poppies embraced the breeze. Day old lambs floated by, on this day of perfect peace. The idyll lasted till a shot rang out and a grazing hare jumped in the air.
