AMBULANCES
Ambulatory macaronies bounced up, laughing at nestled calzones eating sauces.
MACARONIESi am doing reasonably well. Wrote my first poem in over three months a couple of days ago... a poem referring to the poet in a group I'd been active in who dismissed me several times amid his own uncarefulness in posting his own poetry filled with mistakes and typos. It got a response from him, though I did not identify him in the poem (I sent him the link). https://allpoetry.com/poem/17847519-Release...MLee-Dickensson
After talking with my surgeon the other day, we've decided NOT to replace my left knee, and I'll probably be spending most of my time in a wheelchair rather than walking. We're being tested to get a Hoveround in a couple of weeks.
I've not heard from Larry in a while, and he's not been posting on AP. I think I should give him a call some time soon. I think it's marvellous that you're writing poetry again even if it leads to difficulties with other poets.
It must be a relief to have made the decision not to replace your left knee. Well, my son Patrick spent about three years in a wheelchair. You remember he died of ALS aged 29.
What is a Hoveround?
I hope Larry is alright. Do give him a call when you can and let me know. You must miss him, same as I do.
I'm going to have lunch now so I'll try to finish these words later on. All the best.
