Hello all,
 We've been having a disussion in the staff room for a time with regard to continuing our participation in this monthly poetry competition. In viewing our history, most of our members do not seem to be overly motivated to enter competitions - the competitive aspect of writing in general - and I've been seriously considering withdrawing MM from this comp. There are many reasons that all seem to make sense. We entertain your thoughts here. Best, ~Lori

Collaboration feeds innovation. In the spirit of workshopping, please revisit those threads you've critiqued to see if the author has incorporated your ideas, or requests further feedback from you. In addition, reciprocate with those who've responded to you in kind. On my! I never posted an update in this thread.
 While we are still an official board member, we have been on haitus from this competition. With our new revival, I have sent a message to Rus letting him know that we might begin participating again soon. IMO, I think it would be a GREAT thing to re-enter to become "visible" again among our sister boards and the Poetic community at large. Cheers, ~Cleo

I quite agree, but in view of Rus's announcement, we'll have to wait and see who, if anybody, offers to take over. I was feeling enthused about IBPC again. Love, Sylvia
