Heyyyyyy Snow!

LOVE your poem!  Do you live in Australia?  South Africa?  I'm sweltering here in intense summer heat and you're writing about beautiful spring!  

However, the poem is lovely and lyrical.  I love meter and rhyme .. just wish I could write it better.

Thanks for being the first poster in this forum!  Lovely way to begin.

I thoroughly enjoyed your refreshing sonnet, as the imagery and lovely alliteration brings your poem to life.        



I especially like this stanza:

On slender stems, exquisite leaves
become the daffodils’ green sleeves.
Their yellow trumpets raise to sing
and herald birth of verdant spring.
