HI all.
Pandora's on the loose and while we're busy finding her 'hidden treasures', how about a more serious topic ~ being thankful? In response to Aphrodite's new piece in Homer's Homilies, "Thanks, for giving" , I would like to offer this challenge. What are you thankful for in life? There are no requirements for style. I'm thankful for the air I breathe...
my heart and lungs agree without it I'd be forced to leave this life quite hurriedly. My eyes are treasured by me too; invaluable in worth... there's beauty all around to view upon this blessed green earth. But then I realize there's more that makes my life worth while, and instantly can think of four more senses and a smile. I like to saturate myself with all life offers me; sight, hearing, smell, touch, speech...not wealth; these precious things are free. If I have these. I have it all, for with them I can be successful, failure, happy, sad; it all depends on me. **************** Armed with such gifts, how can I fail to thank the one who gave a place for me to tell my tale.
