The Wake
After the ages of Gaia there rose a tangled tale about the young king who shipwrecked upon a small island. It goes, “The selfish giant ocean claimed its due
by drowning pregnant queen but on a whim, twin children, Sylvie and Bruno were born. The God of small things had protected them from music of the spheres; Gabriel’s horn.”
The English, patiently, toast in their pub known as The Canterville; ghost of its past, for it was once the kingdom’s castle hub but rape of the fair country maid had cast
a pall. The blood of flowers… nevermore as Angela’s ashes fell by the shore.
