Nurse's Day
To care when there is no one else around, or lend a helping hand to ease each pain is surely God’s great blessing that is found in someone just like you. You will remain
within the minds and hearts forevermore of those in need. A beacon in the night, you shine your light upon the rich or poor and find a way of sharing in their fight.
Some set aside one day to honor you with praise or gifts and yet, abundantly, you give of self for years. Would that your due was celebrations every day. You’ll be
remembered in our praise and prayers each day and loved for every smile you give away.
Happy Nurse's Day on the 6th and Nurse's Week the 6th through 12th. Larry

When power leads man toward arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the areas of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of his existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
John Fitzgerald Kennedy
Kindness is a seed sown by the gentlest hand, growing care's flowers.

I agree with Syl, Larry. You should post some of your beautiful sonnets in this forum.
This is a wonderful tribute to nurses worldwide. Great read!

Live one day at a time -it's simpler that way. Laugh loud & often - it's medicinal. Write from the heart - it's therapeutic. Beauty comes from within - the outer is just skin!
