My name is Dave (Viking) and I am a new member. I used to post on the old Poem Kingdom site, way too many years ago. I was very happy to see that Poppy, Lori and several others from the old site are on her. Look forward to reading some great poetry.

Why HELLO Dave and WELCOME TO MM!
I am so happy to see another poet from the old PK join us! We had many early on - over 300 members at one time here - times change, people move around to different boards and such, and it's nice to know they have a home here when they return, to write again or just hang out. We did have a purge of members several years back, mostly due to "abuse notifications" bouncing back to me from email subscriptions from AOL back in those days. I hope you will find our forum a place where you will read and also post your works in our friendly setting.
I look forward to reading your work! Viking is not a member name I remember from PK, but then again, I joined there during its last year as a VERY new poet. Just an FYI, there's no Draconian cauldron here, lol -- the posting rules for the critique forums are posted in each, however, we are far more 'relaxed' nowadays, so do not concern yourself too much with them.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me or any of our staff members (Eisa, AMETHYST (poetprincess at PK), Arnfinn, JLY, Psyche and Imhotep) or our regulars like Daniel for example.

Collaboration feeds innovation. In the spirit of workshopping, please revisit those threads you've critiqued to see if the author has incorporated your ideas, or requests further feedback from you. In addition, reciprocate with those who've responded to you in kind.
