Dani dearest,
What a lovely moment when I spied your name at the Birthday greetings. Thank you so much!
Daniel told us about meeting you at JFK airport. I'm so glad, but felt full of envy!
I don't suppose you'll every fly down to Argentina. I'm now further south than Buenos Aires. I'm near a beautiful resort town called Bariloche, in Argentine Patagonia. Needed to be near my daughter Diana. I have a pretty little house in her grounds.
If you google Bariloche, you might be tempted to take a holiday over here!
The lakes and mountains are glorious. Still, I'm a bit lonely because it's not easy to make new friends as the years pass. I have a small group of widows...LOL...And they all speak English, so I can practice with them!
Tx again, Dani, for remembering me. I'll take a peek to see whether you've charmed us with one of your poems. Hope so! You can post 'oldies', as there's been a turnover of members recently.
The Lord replied, my precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.
"There is no life higher than the grasstops Or the hearts of sheep, and the wind Pours by like destiny, bending Everything in one direction."
Sylvia Plath, Crossing the Water, Wuthering Heights.
