Hi,

I am here because criticalpoet.com has come upon some hard times, possibly end times, and Eisa graciously pointed us to this forum.

I have been writing poetry formal and free for almost 30 years. I have published poetry under the auspices of nowculture.com

I've been called posthumous, posty, postie, and Don (and other things, but I'd rather not repeat those).

Thanks for having me!

Welcome to Mosaic Musings, posthumous! I also sent you a message, but now see that you've already introduced yourself. As I don't live in the USA, we don't celebrate Halloween...therefore, your name isn't scary to me...mmm....well, perhaps I'll pick another one all the same!

I think we'll all be able to learn a lot from you. Still, we have some excellent sonnet writers, as well as of many other forms of poetry, apart from FV. Larry excels at sonnets. Recently he posted a lovely Huitain.

I started writing in 1995, but in Spanish, for a Buenos Aires newspaper. When they closed that column down, I skipped over here. Have been uninspired this year.

Don, make yourself comfortable. Looking forward to reading your poetry, very much indeed.
Cheers,
Sylvia a.k.a. Psyche

The Lord replied, my precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.

"There is no life higher than the grasstops
Or the hearts of sheep, and the wind
Pours by like destiny, bending
Everything in one direction."

Sylvia Plath, Crossing the Water, Wuthering Heights.
