Hi Folks,

I've loved all your haikus so very much that after reading all of them again, I've decided to begin a SEPARATE thread for Interactive Haiku.  So,  please use this thread for the "train fashion haiku" and the initial haiku thread for standard haiku.  Thanks so much, y'll!!

How about attempting to write one a day for 15 or 30 days in a row?  Anyone game to commit to this endeavor?

I'll begin this thread:

Low Front Moving Back

Weather is crazy ..
how can anyone predict
capricious nature

© D R Harris - 28 Jan 2004

The next author will begin their haiku with "capricious nature".  OK Everyone, let's goooooo!!!!   cheer.gif  cheer.gif

Dear Dolly

This may not be quite the direction that you hoped this would go, but you know, an eternal truth is an eternal truth !

COUNTERPOINT

Capricious nature :
what you can have you don't want;
that's women for you !

Love
Alan

Thank you so much, Alan!  What a goof I made, but it's neither the first nor the last, I'm afraid.  I've taken the liberty of correcting my haiku.  Here's my rendering for this day/night:

Demand equal rights
when faced with voting choices
good for all concerned

Couldn't figure out what you meant until I checked back to Daniel's last line.

I find that you have used a very witty "same sound" word, but have to tell you it is spelled "gnu" !

Very interesting haiku, Grace, dear!  But, this is the INTERACTIVE HAIKU thread.  If I could figure out how to move a posting, which still eludes me, I'd move this haiku over to the regular haiku thread  ...       But, I don't know how to.

Anyhow, I do like what this one says!   smart.gif

Hi Dolly and Alan,

Well, having thoroughly messed up your interactive haiku and at the request of Alan I call "fainites" (that Dolly roughly translated means I can't be punished for my transgressions or I call a truce!). So here we go, back to the original follow on

so, was Barnum's famous quote
