Hi all,
OK,
Just so we have an anchor - the 23rd in Winchester is fine by me. (OK, I would say that - but it is - I'm a happy bunny). Let's stick now.

Dear All,
Sorry for the confusion, to state it clearly, 23rd is great for me.
Winchester is fine too, but since this was chosen to help me, is NOT a requirement.
Thank you.
Love Alan

Dear Jox,
You are far too literal, while at the same time being not nearly literal enuff !
Railway???

Deux = two
Bunnies = Playboy Magazine, contents thereof, so I've been informed ....
Chuffed = sound that Thomas the Tank Engine makes when piling on the coals
Fran was making a cross-ligual punny ! Chuffed, hence railways.
Love Alan

Hi Alan, Fran,
Thanks.
>A>You are far too literal, while at the same time being not nearly literal enuff !
Sorry, Alan, don't understand.???
I am so unsure of my French that I simply assumed I had it wrong.
I thought deux = 2 Bunny - nowt to do with Playboy. Chuffed = pleased, not trains. (Cheeks puffed up)
Chuffed?? Well I've never read "Thomas," so I wouldn't know that, sorry. I didn't realise trains made noises we could write as words. The things one learns!
This sounds like "moo" cow lingo? If so I have an excuse - my Mother always used the correct words and insisted people didn't use "sound" words with me. So trains have always been, err trains, not chuffeds, nor "toot toots." (That is the whistle they used to have I imagine?).
The only French lingo joke I know:
Q: Why do French people only ever eat one egg at a sitting, no matter how hungary they are?
A: Because one egg is an oeuf.**
:)
J.
** Thanks be to The West Wing, US tv drama for that one - Margaret to Leo.

Hi Nina...
Choo Choo (never heard for trains but I see what you mean - the whistle) - isn't that a type of pastry, used for desserts with double cream in?
As regards the bunnies :)

This all sounds confusing from an out-of-country gal like me!
Might I suggest (since this TILE is so LONG) that you start a new one so those who can make the journey won't have to read through so many replies?
