The fact that 'e so seldom misses didn't comfort 'is now-riled-up missus. Put yer shotgun away; climb back in an' make hay or ya'll spend all next month doin' dishes.

Doin’ dishes is what he desires ‘cause old age has extinguished the fires. Once a stud in the sack, now it just hurts his back; servicing nymphomania tires.

If you have nymphomaniac tires please be careful at night what transpires; they will try to get studs just to feel the thud-thuds. You simply can't meet their desires.

You can’t meat their desires? Who would try to undo their steel belts and then ply them with gold chains and such; you’ll be caught in their clutch and just limp where you tred ‘till you die.

If you limp like a blimp from your nympho you’re liable to end in a hoosegow where your gold chain and clutch will not matter too much except if your cellmate's a Jane Doe.

Eh? Your cell mate is Shinto, you say? He believes that the past is the Way to get closer to God? Was that his Esplanade that they stopped on the Ocean Highway?

On the Ocean Highway was a stop with a sign by a stony outcrop touting views of sunset and a nudist beach fete but the pulchritude was a flop

Why was comeliness such a great flop? It's 'cause go-liness opted to shop for a surety deal and a long date-night meal with a polit-correctlessness cop.

A cop Ness was correct, less polite, when the mob thought that he wouldn’t fight their corruption. Of course he just used more blunt force and left quite a few dead just for spite.

What's left is a dead mug of Sprite... not an alcohol-drop to incite a fire inside me; I've not but to flee the memories of this long night.

Memories may belong to the night when they turn into dreams and take flight but when nightmares appear understanding your fear makes them all disappear with dawn's light

In and out, and she's gone with dawn's light... will our Lori come back or take flight in oblivion's cloud or return with a loud "Whatchoo talkin' 'bout, man?!" to my fright?

What you're talking about, to my fright is that MM fades into the night when each member abstains from submitting refrains. Tell us Lori; "Will that be our plight?"

If Lori is not soon forthright her muses will surely take flight and when the door closes the site decomposers into the mosaics of night.

Now now boys. I'm here, ! "Whatchoo talkin' 'bout, man?!" is right!! I've been on a MAJOR project at work since last November which has taken up all of my time (even off hours). The good news is that the "product" is going live on October 8th and then I'll be more visible here and in my novel writing projects. We're finally going to offer installment billing (the Bose Payment Plan) in all our US retail store locations. I am the lead for all the payment plans at Bose representing my group, Customer Operations, and with a core team, it has been a HUGE undertaking, getting 6 different systems to mingle and play nice along with so many industry regulations for legal and credit card compliance factors thrown in there too!! This has been percolating for 6 years on and off. In addition to my own sci-fi/fantasy novel you've heard about since forever (July 2008, lol), I am also collaborating with another Bose peer who is a published novelist on a fiction/suspense novel. I am also assisting with 2 of his 'tween novels in the works, both in an editing capacity and as a critiquer. So, things are BUSY after hours, lol and at lunch time. I should be along soon but am on vacation this week preparing to put my grandmother's house up for sale, since her passing last month. It's a LOT of hard work as it has deteriorated over the years. Talk soon! Lori

Hi Lori,
Sorry to hear about your grandmother. My condolences.
Larry
Looks like MM won't fade in the night Lori said she'll be back to this site. Soon as Bose hits the street and her Sci-Fi's complete; "Hope both sales figures fly like a kite!"

I've been absent, but I'm still alive, so I have dropped in to contrive some silly, short lines to tingle your spines... and maybe, this thread to revive?

To revive this small thread, you may be walking down cobwebbed hallways with me for the paucity here makes me leery. I fear it will take more than two. You agree?
