Hi Ben,
Great to have you on board. Welcome!

I hope that you find MM helps you to develop your writing - it certainly has been - and is - invaluable to me.
I don't know emule, sorry but I hope MM libes up to your expectations.
See you around,
James.

Hi Ben. A warm welcome to MM! If I might ask, where are you from? We have many options for you to delve into should you wish to here at MM. Just give a hollar and we'll do our best to answer your questions. Do you favor poetry or prose? Cheers! ~Cleo

I came here though, because it had a prose forum too and I've been recently starting full-length pieces.

On our former board, locataion was a required field but here on IPB, it isn't. I'm going to see if I can make it so... Do you mind if I add that to your profile? Cheers! ~Cleo

Hello Ben ! Happy to welcome you to this site. You will find wonderful, fun, and talented people here. I look forward to seeing samples of your poetry and prose as you begin to post regularly. Am curious.....do you aspire more to becoming a writer....or are you looking to teach, also ? Became interested when I read about your chosen major/minor. Hope you enjoy it here and that we can be helpful to you ! Marcia

Greetings, Ben... and welcome aboard! You won't find these tired, old, dyslexic eyes much over in the prose neighborhood, so you might not see much of me; I leave that to the prose... er, the pros... but if you venture over into the other side of the site, you may see my skipping through or stumbling in from time to time... so I look forward to reading you, as you have the opportunity to critique and be critiqued. deLighting in the prospect, Daniel

Coming from emule, you can't be all bad.
WELCOME.
I avoid the prose zone because it takes a great deal of time to be sincerely helpful; I have eight chapters and equal to read before my face to face writer's club meeting this coming Thursday; and last but not least, my editing stinks.
However, I am induced to plow over that-a-way to see how proper prose is proposed.

Hi Ben, Fran...
>F> There's probably more money in teaching
There's more money (than in writing) in selling one's parts for organ transplants - but also not recommended. (And just as dangerous).

Greetings Ben and welcome to MM I too like both poetry and prose but still consider myself a beginner in both. I've only been here a short while but I can tell you that if you are looking for sincere critiques this is the place. You will find out most reviewers are generous in sharing their expertise yet do so in a very kind and gentle manner. There is plenty to do here and I'm sure you'll enjoy discovering the many aspects of MM. I have also been posting old work and the good people here have still managed to help me improve my writing greatly. If you are looking for inspiration that is fun, check out the challenges. They are quite delightful and can lead to bigger things if you wish. I look forward to reading your work and getting to know you.
