Hi all.
Welcome to Drabble No. 78!
You must create a 100 word response and utilize one or both of the suggested word(s) below in one of two ways: INCLUDE the word in the story OR use the word as the THEME of the story.
Here are the rules for Drabble No. 78:
- Stories (or drabble as some affectionately call this) must be 100 words exactly.
- No poems - this is a different genre entirely for prose.
- Two words will be provided by a member of the forum.
- Include one of the two words in your response OR
- Use the word(s) as the THEME of your response.
- You may write one drabble for each word or combine the two words into one response if you wish.
- Offer comment on at least one drabble by another member.
- Title your responses as Drabble No. 78 by (membername).
These Drabbles are great for finding the value in every word in prose - something poets already know. It's also good fun.
The two rules to stick to are (1) the exact word count (that's what makes it so hard) and (2) no poetry responses please.
These two titles are hereby offered below.
GHOUL or SPIRIT
and
DUSK
*Note: You can create as many responses as you like.
Good luck all!
