Which cartoon am I?

The Cat's Christmas Follies

…And so the Warners tucked their pets into bed and prepared themselves for an early Christmas morning to a nice breakfast gathering with all their loved-ones. For now, they dream of peaceful tidings....

“Thufferin’ Thuccotash! They left the cage door loothe! I’m weak! I gotta have me a biiiiiiirrrrrrrd!”

The cat tip-toed across the kitchen floor, planning his attack. ”This year, no stupid bird’s gonna outwit me! I’m gonna foil Chrithmath and make methelf that tamich I’ve been dreaming of all year! You hear me bird! I’m a comin' fer ya!”

Sylvester spied the pantry shelves and found his stairway to the cage of opportunity. He began climbing. His meal noticed his approach, but our cat did not glance up.

“I tawt I taw a putty tat,” she exclaimed as she peeked out the cage door. “I did! I did taw a putty tat! I wonder what that putty tat up to now?”

Without 'Hunter' noticing, she flew around to the backside of the cage, behind her blanket covering. The cat continued up the pantry. As he approached the third shelf, some flour had spilled over onto the shelf’s edge (which she had a wing in). His paws frantically tried to grasp a clean spot on the shelf as his grip loosened.

“I'll blast that bird this time! Wait, what’s this? A trap?” Sylvester lost his grip completely and fell, ‘SPLAT!’ onto the kitchen floor.

The bird looked down. “Oh oh, that putty tat after me again,” she flew down around its head and whispered, “Bad old putty tat!”

“Aaahhhh, shaddap,” the cat meowed as he licked away the flour from his paws. You’re not gonna have a Merry Chrithmath! I am, cuz ‘m making me a birdie tamich. Now, where’s that ketchup?”

“Ohhhhhh, now what would granny say? And how you spose I got me witto self in such a pwedicament anyway?” The bird was teasing the cat as usual and the cat was getting madder by the minute, as usual.

“Granny, schmanny, you're my Chrithmath present, and I'm-a wrappin' ya up, with ketchup.” He saw his favorite spices. “And I’m gonna add a little seasoning too - there's the tabathco thauce, muthtard…” Ohh ohh, he couldn’t find it. “WHAT, no ketchup!!!! Waddya lookin' for, a fat lip!” He meowed at his owner’s picture on the wall.

The bird flew down again close to the cat’s mouth. Just then, the cat swiped at the bird catching some feathers and a momentary meal hope. “Bad ol' putty tat! You fwighten me! You make me witto heart quiver! Don’t you know it’s bad to eat before Christmas morning?” I better hide from that mean ole putty tat!

Sylvester chased the bird for hours around the kitchen, and made quite a mess too. The entire pantry contents had been swiped or swatted off the shelves but our Sylvester never gave up hope that he would catch his bird. The bird always knew that putty tat just needed a wittle wove and a good bath to please the Warner’s when they awoke, so she just tried to bring that to light.

“Bombs away,” she cried out as she let go of some peppercorns. POOF! BAAAM! Onto the cat’s head they went, and he fell down hard off the shelf yet again. “This is funny! Aw, the poor putty tat fall down! That wast step was a woo woo, putty tat!“ She watched his eyes spin. “Oh oh, methinks me wecked the putty tat?” She thought as he staggered to his feet.

Just then, the Warners came into the kitchen as Christmas morning had finally arrived. “Oh dear! Look what that cat’s done! We better clean him up quickly, before our guests arrive for breakfast! BAD KITTY!”

The Warners gave kitty a bath in the sink and all the while, the bird was watching, perched in its cage. Mrs. Warner even added a red ribbon and a bow to kitties collar to decorate him for the holiday.

“Ooh, how can I face my family again? J-j-just being a pussycat is such a hazard.”

“Look hun, kitty is all clean now. Ain’t he lookin pretty? Don’t you agree, birdie?” Mrs. Warner lifted the cat into the air for inspection.

Christmas went off in its usual style. I just wish that putty tat would smarten up! All I know, you see, is that he's really a nice putty tat – hehh hehh hehh! Merry Christmas!
