He's small and sick and poorly fed and dressed.
Aware is he that pleasures grow quite dim. Existence shakes its head at his behest And Nature fails to heal his hurtful limb. But Mom and Dad and siblings love this lad And he returns their feelings double strong. With faith that all is well when all is done, A Christmas spirit changed a grouch to glad So turkey graced the table's hungry throng, From Eb' and Tim, "God Bless Us Ev'ry One!" ·······  ······· |
