Dearest pen pals and friends,

In the past three months I have been immobile physically and mentally. Life has stepped up it's pace on me and I find myself having seizures from the unforgiving and relentless stress in my life... I have left my whole family behind over a month ago and am shamed to say that my emotions are cold and stale..

No doctor has been able to help me so far and each one has said that am going through a subconscious meltdown. Even a few claimed me to be suicidal.

In truth, my faith holds me back from such darkness but my body seems to have a mind of its own. I started having electric shock waves ; seizures on august 26 th as a result of a confrontation..

Now I am in Damascus staying with my mom and my kids have started their academic year without for the first time in their lives.

I just want to be able to wake up with a sense of peace and have a normal morning
being able to open my eyes without pain and move about without the incessant trembling within my limbs and the constant fear of a recurring attack that leaves me
immobile for almost an hour.

I needed to vent and venting here really helps...
I need your prayers for me pls.

Dani

My dearest Dani,

You know how much I love you as a sincere, understanding friend first, and as an excellent poet second. You have my absolute support in this dire period you're going thru', so please feel free to use this space as a warm, friendly place to vent any feelings you wish (I shouldn't be speaking for others, but I know that everybody here loves you).

I'm so sorry that you have to go thru' such an unpleasant experience. I expect you've been putting others before yourself, and now your body & spirit have said 'enough!'. The docs may be right about the meltdown, but that needn't be suicidal, it may be your system's way of protecting itself from worse things.

I understand about bodily pain, as I have Fibromyalgia, which sucks!

One of these days you may find yourself waking up to spiritual light & peace, instead of the darkness you see now. Give yourself time, I hope your mum is able to spoil you and give you TLC (tender loving care), as I'm sure you deserve. I'll pray to God that you'll both have beautiful cosmic energy to pull you thru' in a short time.

I'll leave off now, as I've also had a very recent bad experience and change of holiday plans. Nothing happened to me personally, but I'm back at the mill, grinding away as I have been for many years now! But I try to draw limits, ignore the smaller stuff, and even sometimes shirk priorities, so as to not have setbacks to my health. I hope you can do the same eventually, and meanwhile listen to your mind/body/spirit....I'm dropping the biggest warm hug into this space for you right now, GroupHug.gif cloud9.gif lovie.gif
love, Syl***

Hi Dani,

WOW! I had no idea your personal life has put you in such a state as this. I'm soooo sorry! Of COURSE you can vent - I hope it helps to talk about what you are thinking and feeling. You must find an outlet to destress. Stress can do crazy things...

I think you have made a great start by moving to Damascus. Are you able to keep in touch with your children? Please do try and think of yourself first right now as you need to be in control of these stressors to get healthy again.

I will be thinking of you and wishing you all the best - keep us posted here or in private.

Big hugs!

Dearest Sylvia

You have no idea how wonderful it feels to have your tender support and concern. Sincere love and respect is the ultimate healing ingredient for this condition and I am so grateful to have that here. Ofcourse I do have it with my family and friends, but somehow it feels more precious to receive that from someone who knows my soul though we have never met in person.

I hope you get to handle everything with your amazing character and I'm there for you just as much...

With my deepest love and gratitude
Dani

Dearest Lori,

Leaving my kids for this period of time has been really hard on me. But I guess sometimes drastic measures should be taken in order to allow everyone to truly reassess your value in their lives and be reminded of your role as a person.

Most of the times I don't feel I miss them and feel guilty for that. Your acceptance of my ranting is nothing less of what I knew I'd get within your embrace.

Thank you for always holding my "hand".

Love with deep gratitude
Dani

Dearest Dani, Of course you may vent here, this has been a haven for me to vent my frustrations and stress. And we all listen, because most of us have problems that we want others to listen to also. I am so sorry that you have had to get up and leave your children without your physical presence. I am sure in time they will understand. My girls and my grand children have helped me cope and helped me see a bright side to my disease, My grandson is up and running everywhere, but when he comes in he whispers my name (papa) everyone else is a holler and a scream. I think he knows that I am not well. It sounds like you are going through a lot of stuff, you might also be having possible anxiety attacks, as Lori said Stress can play some cruel and strange things on you. find a really good doctor and hopefully he will find a medication that will help, believe in your faith as strongly as you can, I wish I had it to believe in some days. Suicide contemplation is a strange way to work out some of your inner conflicts, I have been asked many times about it, I always tell them yes I have thought very seriously about it and planned it all out as to how etc, but I don't think that I could ever carry it through, mainly because of things I learned in childhood. I hope that you will never have to look that deep inside yourself. I think you are a lovely person, you just need to find your own path and stick to it, just be you.
I hope this has helped and you can always vent at me anytime Dani,
Take care, be strong
hugs
Steve

Dearest Dani

I've only just found this post and am deeply saddened by your news. I have missed you so much, but when I spoke to you on FB I felt all was far from well. A big hug from me!

Stress can do awful things to our bodies. You did the right thing staying with your mother - you need to get away from your situation and rest ... rest helps to heal. Hang in there Dani - when you reach the bottom, the only way is up! and we will all be thinking of you, sending good vibes your way.

It must be hard leaving your kids, but there are times when you must put yourself first and I'm sure they will understand.

You will get through this Dani - write to me any time you need to vent. I wish I lived near to visit you.
Let us know how you are doing.

Love and hugs
