Did everyone hear about the passing of Patrick Swazye, Mary Travers (Peter, Paul, and Mary); and Henry Gibson from Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In? I wonder who the next celebrities to pass will be?

I heard about Patrick Swazye and Mary Travers yes, but not Henry Gibson.

A thought that has been brewing since all the MJ hype a while back suddenly precipitated when reading this thread. No disrespect intended, just a point of view.
Wally Gods too can Die Let blame fall on the media; reporting heinous lies; distributing heretic thoughts - implying Stars could die! Are they not gods beyond the call of Chronos and his kin? I say we ban the media for letting Death peep in! In Africa we have no stars but media ensures that Politicians are our gods as long as life endures. WW Schwim 18 Sept 2009 ······· ······· |

Wally and Lori, yea it was sad to hear of MJ passing but they couldn't just let him go, had to drag his name thru the media one more time, but Mary Travers and henry were just a blurb. And people like us would be lucky to get a obituary, and thats if we pay for it. But death is the great equalizer.
