QUOTE(harlequinneyes @ Aug. 14 2003, 03:14) Predator
The glove of night covers my eyes. Draining my life with its embrace. Its hunger demands a price so high. It takes but refuses to give. This demon hunts like the predator carnate. No mercy, no warmth in its soul. The fear that she burns is her power and strength. Black eyes like death are her toll.
Taken with a word too silent to be heard Slain by the ice that is her The night bleeds black it oozes through tracks of my mind my heart and soul
Blasted in the furnaces of Hades gone mad. Anger is vanquished by lust. Pierced and then slaughtered, the life is scattered. Like shards on the beach of your soul. The kiss of the damned is the scar that remains. Etched in fyre in your eyes. The black night will reign as it covers your brain, and vomits your life through its maw.

I find this poem fascinating, and I love the way you start off "The glove of night..." I love this description.
I personally feel the way it is written is more like prose and would look more poetic if set out in stanzas with line breaks. Just my opinion though!
A very interesting read...with some vivid descriptions
