The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) is onf of the World's largest broadcasters (if not the largest). It also operates the UK's largest web site (BBCi - about one million pages I believe). It runs writing competitions (sorry - these are only open to UK residents). Moreover, it also has on-line self-learning and information about various forms of writing. These are excellent. Here is the web address - check it out if you are interested in learning more about the craft of writing...

This link takes one to the info page of the BBC's writing resources - click on the home button (top left) to go to the very front page of the whole section.

The BBC's "Get Writing" section - Info Page

If you wish to see what the BBC, as an organisation, offers the click on the following link: (I thought you might wish to know with whom you were dealing!)

BBC Global Channel Info (and links)

For those in the amateur writers in the UK, the BBC's latest competition is here... (based on the Canterbury Tales and for BBC Radio 4)

Canterbury Tales Competition Link

Apart from the great information and links, BBCi also has the advantage of having no advertising - so, as with MM, they can concentrate on better things. (All households pay an annual fee to finance them)

Collaboration feeds innovation. In the spirit of workshopping, please revisit those threads you've critiqued to see if the author has incorporated your ideas, or requests further feedback from you. In addition, reciprocate with those who've responded to you in kind.
