. Black hole love I'm the most powerful being in the universe and you, the brightest star not even your light can escape me or expanse, keep us apart. I reckon its a couplet since I've just returned from investigation. I suppose Limericks would be welcome in a short forum as well, I'll go find a man from Nantucket who stubs his toe and says..."?" P.S is it OK to start new topics within the two day time period if they are in different forums?

Hi Terry. Just a bit ragged this morning - but to answer your questions: Here's a link to the forms that I've noted that 'fit the requirements' in this forum: Click here. There's information about each form too in Karnak Crossing as well. Yes, each forum is independent with the 2 day, 2 crit rule - so you can post in each one but must adhere to those rules specific to that forum - in other words, no cross-over crits count towards the requirements in different forums (post in Shogun, do 2 crits in Shogun, post in Herme's, do 2 crits in Hermes, etc. ~Cleo

QUOTE (Eisa @ Jun 10 07, 23:56 ) Hi Terry Before I make any comments, I just want to be sure what form this is written in. Thanks Snow Hi Snow, To be honest, I am not sure what form it is myself, its a John Doe at the mo. Maybe its the Irish equivalent of a haiku; a lepraku. Its just a little thing I wrote, not thinking of form or anything. I thought it would feel at home in this short forum. Any suggestions as to its identity? Terry

Hi Terry,
Since a great deal of asian names have been brandied about recently, I have no idea what short form you have written. For sure, I like it a lot. Meet you at the event horizon.

Hey Don,
I'll figure it out what it is soon, but if it a new form I'm calling it 'Lepraku'. Glad you liked . I've been reading a collection of Arthur C. Clarke's science fact/fiction- short stories, so a short science fact/fiction poem seemed fitting.
HeHe, event horizon, lets hope its not imminent !!
PS. Ae freislighe ~ 4 lines. Just found out this is the name of a poem with 4 lines. Thanks to Cleo's link above. Look's Irish to me. Just checked that out it is indeed Irish, what a coincidence.
Terry

Gee Terry,
You have been rambling about in science and its fiction. I've been bumbling about in the prophetic genre. Mother Shipton, Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce are about as much fun as science fiction. I was particularly attracted to Mother Shipton because her prophecies were written in ryhme. All the erie effect of the wizard of Oz without green smoke and mirrors.
