Why Doubt Me? Options

Life is a great journey from alpha till omega,
life has thrown many obstacles my way, many I've overcome.
Momentarily I hail myself victorious,
but a sudden rush of gusty wind whirls past me,
biting me like a vicious viper,
carrying with it those who doubted me.

I cast my tiresome mind back precisely a decade ago,
many doubted me. I finally came to realise that
I'm fighting a lone battle. Some you win, some you lose,
but this battle was set apart like no other battle.
It was the war of my life.

I had to be victorious at all cost.
My sheer determination and hunger were my guide and driver.
I visualised a great war, yet I was the only soldier on the battleground.
All my doubters stood firm from a distance awaiting my downfall.

It became apparent to me that this was more than a war,
it was ''armageddon''. The heavenly father granted me
the might of a thousand men, abundant wisdom that seconds none,
guidance and the determination to realise and conquer my goal.

Copious progress has been made,
my doubters are swaying from side to side in a trance,
not quite believing their eyes,
but they are beginning to believe because seeing is believing.

''Armageddon'' hailed me victorious,
many more battles I shall conquer,
but my fellow comrades, lend me your ears
because my battles, I do not fight by myself,
but with my heavenly father.
