A peaceful eve, cold icy white of Yuletide greetings laced in gold, it harks the Heralds to the site, a peaceful eve, cold icy white. On angels high, this blessed night, they flock to meet Him, young and old, a peaceful eve, cold icy white of Yuletide greetings laced in gold.
Three Wise Men journey, gifts to bear, great glowing star points north to show a swaddling Savior, hallowed Dear, three Wise Men journey, gifts to bear. Warm sheep and camels soon draw near, the oxen leading seem to know, three Wise Men journey, gifts to bear, great glowing star points north to show. ©Linda Balboni 2006

What a lovely composition this is ! Love the references to ice and snow that you weave into the traditional story. Is a lovely visual poem for me. I am so glad you decided to enter the contest. Best of luck ! Marcia
