Ahhh - the homonym......words that are pronounced the same way, but are spelled differently and have different meanings.   oops.gif  ???

Please add your two to four line stanza using two homonyms in each line.... Oh yes...cuz I like to rhyme, please follow my rhythm (if possible).

You can find a great list of homonyms at: http://www.cooper.com/alan/homonym_list.html

Sir Knight

In the shallows of night, the fearless Sir Knight
gallantly rode the rocky road to Camelot.
Along the way, he whiled his wild horse, Smight;
In his daze, long days passed, searching for Lancelot.

Tasked with a summit feat, nearly four hundred feet above,
Smight began to canter, as they passed a cantor by.
Gripping the bridle, Sir Knight sang the bridal song of love;
while his horse’s gait slowed at the gate of a mountain high.

Passing a herd of cacklers, man and beast heard clear;
three foul men valiantly trying to catch frisky fowl.
Sir Knight paused, “What scent is that which sent me here”?
“Come to me cellar!” barked the seller, “Me hear you growl!”
