WEIRD WORD POOLS
For this exercise you will need to choose a relatively small word that does not contain too many vowels (you'll see why in a minute).
With that word at the top of your page, generate a word pool. The catch is that all of the words in your word pool must NOT contain letters in the word at the top of your page.
So let's say your word is FRIEND--you can add words to your word pool such as "close-up", "plug", "wooly", "atom", "gloomy" and "chum" because they do NOT contain the letters f, r, i, e, n, or d.
Once you have thought of 20 or so words, write a postcard poem to your word (the one at the top of your page), using words drawn from your word pool and adding in any other words you want (forgetting about the rule you used for the word pool).

Good luck!
