 LE NOUVEAU FAMILLE
Mama laments what's cruel, her silicon filled breasts no longer make Daddy drool. Ruby nipples once caressed; coveted like precious jewels, sag listlessly down her chest. Sedated from his daily dose of Prozac, pot and scotch, father appears a bit morose as he grabs his anemic crotch; a once fervent, climatic close too dysfunctional to dispatch. Junior speaks in gothic riddles, as he spastically lights the flame that heats his exploited needle - into a septic, jittery vein he aims, a contaminated syringe to kindle his depraved, spaced-out game. Upstairs, two vernal physiques straddle each other in bed. Anorexic Mary, so faintly weak lies aflutter with legs spread, coerced by a crackhead geek... an innocence wistfully dead. The dining room table's riddled - fast food leftovers cast astray, empty pizza boxes lie crumpled, vestiges of a millennium buffet. Conventional traditions discarded, drowned in self-serving decay. ·······  ·······Give thanks for your new friends of today, but never forget the warm hugs of your yesterdays.

Congratulations on your award. This is one of the hardest looks into the contemporary muck of today I've seen for some time. The visualizations are graphic, sharp through the darkness... very provocative. You've given a strong write and earned a rightful prize. Well done.
