Devolution



Go quietly amidst the noise and rumble

and know that in your travels

your footprints will scarcely be noticed

Remember that two wrongs never make a right

but the THREE do.....

Speak softly of those remembered

for their ghosts may be listening

and ghost poop is a very nasty thing



Do not fall in love

for it will only stick to your face

And remember that a walk through the sands of lost souls

will only get your shoes very muddy



Bending and spindling may be fun

but to really make a splash, always mutilate

Rotate your tires

and be heedful to what that little red light

even though no one can truly check an engine



Never question what "They" say,

but rather question WHO "They" are.

Always speak glowingly of those who are above you

even though they may be turkeys

And in the carbon paper world we live in

the one who holds the wet naps shall be king.

Some good thoughts here, but it seems like several little poems brought together, unless I'm missing some link ?

Also, do you mean "Devolution", or perhaps "Devotion" ?

I've written several "random thought" pieces, then unstitched them and made them into several short pieces.  Nothing wrong with shortness, if it concisely says all that there is to be said in an area !
