This sounds brilliant - delighted you'll be having fun tonight. Take all our good wishes with you.
Will there be celebratory photographs for us to enjoy?
Have fun and raise a glass for absent friends; we'll be thinking of you.

Fran, I never have posted this for crit, just some rambling. Enjoy
FAQ’sWhy must I rhyme? Is it to keep time, so I might chime… in my prime? Should I write in verse? might even sound worse, shows that I am diverse, allow us to converse. What about meter? definitely be neater, proves not a cheater, poem sounds sweeter. Must I use punctuation? it will show formation, certain to stress foundation, even elicit creation. Any more questions? Can you show expressions? How about impressions? Would it work for depression? Ok, ending this session, you get the intention.

Sheesh, Larry!
I wish I'd have known! I thought you and John were planning to get together with me. I didn't see this this morning, or I'd be on my way right now ... and with Eileen!

Dear M M Family,
The N.W. New Jersey Chapter of M. M. met for dinner last night promptly at 6PM. Larry and I greeted all of the attendees. We found comfort in being able to put faces to the names and alter egos we have fondly come to know.
Larry was not in good speaking voice last night, so he asked me to read his poem for him. All of the guests as well as the other customers at the restaurant paused from their drinks and meals to pay courteous attention to our poetry recital. I added my own vocal touch to Larry's lyrical words and the end result was greeted by a round of applause.
We sat down to dinner of soup, salad, steak, prime ribs, coffee and dessert. During dinner we exchanged our perspectives on MM and all of its related activities. We were all in synch of our praise of the roles Lori and her dedicated staff perform to make MM the friendly place it is.
Tentatively, our next meeting will be held in August. I also look forward to attending the UK MM get together when I travel across the pond later this year.
Warmest regards to all who attened and to all those who were there in spirit.
JLY

POETS READ POEMS BEFORE PACKED STEAK HOUSE
By Repo Reporter Daily Daily, NJ's largest newspaper 4/14/05
Was having dinner with my family last nite at the Steakhouse and heard a clinking of glasses, then this tall fellow stood up and began to recite his and other dinner friend's poetry. I must say all the patrons were exemplary in their manners as they all were spellbound by John's forceful readings, and after reading his pal Larry's piece, the whole establishment stood up and cheered, calling for encores.
John and Larry thanked them all, and promised to continue the tradition in the near future. Some autographs were requested.
Also, this was something not included on the menu, but well worth it.

PS was able to take of picture of John reading and sent it to him, hope he can get it put in here.

LOL - an excellent report, Larry and thanks for the info, John.
Hope your voice is better, Larry and glad a good time was had by all.
I see no incriminating photos were taken, though. Well, Fran's camera (and mine) just about broke when they tried to take photos of me at our meeting - but I'm sure you wouldn't have had that effect - so no excuses, next time! (In any case, those who come to meetings here will be secretly photographed and the pictures sold to high-paying newspapers).
All the best, J.
