Hi Joe, All refugees are welcome here at MM, it's great to see you. I think many of us are experiencing a degree of writer's block I certainly don't write a as much as I used to. Don't hesitate to post your newly written one and any critiques you can give will be very welcome. Perhaps even post an old poem that you might be able to improve. I do that a lot when I've nothing new to post and it's surprising how an old poem can be spruced up! Anyway - see you in the forums. Eira

Hello Critter and WELCOME TO MM!
We have a few Canadians here: Merlin (Eric) is the most active presently - he is a fantastic sonnet writer and hangs out in Karnak Crossing - our practice/learning forum.
I like reading all sorts of poetry and I have always enjoyed critiquing others. There was a time when this forum was more active I tried to comment on most of the posts - then it got crazy and I could not keep up. Not a bad goal to have!
We offer honest, yet friendly feedback in our workshopping forums so I do hope you'll find yourself at home here and start interacting (we don't bite). There are many members here with different skill levels and technique, which makes MM more comfortable, diverse and challenging if you become so inclined in your poetic journey.
Please, wander our halls, take in our colorful 'tiles' and join in the fun. We used to have a more defined division for level of critique desired (if any), but we've changed that beginning from July, 2013. So now, whne you post a topic for comments, please post a tag line either in the title description (or in the beginning of your thread) stating your desired level of critique. That can be done by simply using a series of stars for light (*), medium (**), or full (***) critique. We also have something called the 1:2:2 rule, which we do not worry about as strictly these days: Each member may post a new work every two days (no more than that, please) providing they then post two critiques of others' works in the same forum. In other words, Post today, not tomorrow (in same forum). You may post one new topic every two days provided you comment on the works of two fellow members (within the same forum).
Each forum has its own 'forum participation rules' posted in a link at the top of the forums, so please have a read of them: http://forums.mosaicmusings.net/index.php?showtopic=8574 .
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me or any of our staff (AMETHYST, Arnfinn, Eisa, JLY, Psyche and Imhotep).
~Cleo

Hello Joe,
Welcome to MM! Hope you get inspired over here, it's a great place to land in.
I'll take a peep to see whether you posted your new poem. And of course you're welcome to crit as much as you please.
We're worlds apart, I live in Argentine Patagonia and Spring is trying hard to beat the harsh weather full of wind and snow.
Cheers, Psyche a.k.a. Syl***
