rewards
Those blessed have passed the test, amassed
not gold but grace and hold a place
within His sphere; no sin or fear.
All’s well, no Hell.

My dear old friend I fear the end
is close for those verbose have chose
to end their time and wend sublime
elsewhere. I care!

Home, Dusty Home
I care no more to square the floor.
Just let it bleed beset with greed.
Expand the walls; this land appalls
because of fuzz.

inches
Fuzz off the chin? We scoff and then
we shave our face to save a place
within our homes or den. Like gnomes,
reward’s in yards.

nature hates your…
In yards we heap small shards which keep
our tools in use. We’re fools! Abuse
returns each year and spurns our fear
and pall of Fall.

daylight savings
Of all the things that Fall now brings
it’s less daylight. I guess I might
use what I’ve saved for plot I paved
for pool when cool.

Pooled Resources
When cool I won't need pool; I don't
think you would build; you'd blue once filled.
You've paved your ground? Will waves abound?
In sun it's fun.

winter eyes
It is fun to go play in the sun but today
it’s to cold and the snow will enfold head to toe
any fool. Those who think it’s just cool should not drink.
Fun denied, I’m inside.

No Work, No Play
I’m inside though it's warm. Please don't chide; there's no harm.
What's it to you that I am so blue, no mayfly?
Outside's work I should do, but I shirk rendezvous.
Go away; I won't play

Still Hope “I won’t play”, they all said so today we look dead
but in time more arrive adding rhyme and will strive
to critique what we write. It looks bleak but we might
stay alive and survive.
