Very clever and most adorable!  Good Old Frosty coming to say hello!  Or was that Jack Skellington trying to steal Christmas again! LOL!

Hugs,
B.

The sky was black and frigid cold,
each star wrapped in its cloud.
The bitter wind blew brash and bold,
it whistled, moaned and howled.

He stood outside the window's glare,
obese with body round.
His coal black eyes would nought but stare,
from mouth came not a sound.

Near seven feet, his silouette,
well shadowed on the deck,
'twas on his head a derby set.
A scarf around his neck...

His presence here fills me with fright!
I wish he'd promptly go!
Ah, there's the switch to pow'r the light.
Well,well, he's made of snow!

Hi Ron,

I see you mixed in some trimeter lines with tetrameter.

A pleasant snow man suspense for a surprise Christmas revelation.

Thanks for the seasonal gift.

Ron,
Wouldn't be the holidays without the visuals of snow and snowmen. Even for those of us who rarely experience a snowy holiday ! Loved this! Is a lovely holiday entry !

"...We are born into the world like a blank canvas
and every person that crosses our path takes up the brush and makes their mark upon our surface.
So it is that we develop.
But we must realize there comes a day that we must take up the brush and finish the work. For only we can determine if we are to be just another painting or a masterpiece..."
