The time has arrived to choose the poems that we'd like to represent MM in the June IBPC competition. Each member's vote will count toward 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and equals 50% of the total votes. In a separate poll, the staff will make their top 3 selections, whose votes will count as the remaining 50% of the total count. We may ask 'guest judges' to participate in our staff polling as well, like we do for Odin's Opposition. On the 29th, we'll post the results from both polls here in this thread and send the congratulatory PM's to those three poets whose poems have been chosen.
Please click on the reply that has the url's in the poem titles to re-read them all and then kindly select your 1st place choice. The three poems with the highest number of votes will count as 50% of the total. The remaining 50% will be posted here as a reply from the staff poll. In the case of a tie, the staff of MM will break it.
Just a reminder that in all our POLLS, your votes will remain anonymous so PLEASE, DO cast your vote today! This poll will close on May 28th.
The following poems have been nominated and 'accepted for nomination' by the authors for the June IBPC competition:
Ruminations by Jim Callaghan
Game Over by John L. Yelavich
The Misting by Lorraine M. Kanter
Melodies of Life by Eira Needham
Miracle Marauders by Lorraine M. Kanter
The Ballerina in Apartment B22 by Linda E. Cable
Best of luck all. ~Cleo
