With Christmas comes a time of glee.
When goodwill reigns, felicity
Will turn to blue those skies of grey,
And chase each stray dismay away.

As carols sound a jubilee
And children climb on grandma's knee,
Without delay, we love this day.
It's Christmas!

This once this year's when we decree
That Force on high is our Emcee.
We're each a bloom in God's bouquet,
Invited guests at His buffet.
"God bless us ev'ryone's" the key,
With Christmas.

Ron,
This is so lovely......I feel so joyous in spirit after reading this ! Light-hearted and unburdened, almost. So glad to have read this today. You've certainly captured the spirit of the season !

"...We are born into the world like a blank canvas
and every person that crosses our path takes up the brush and makes their mark upon our surface.
So it is that we develop.
But we must realize there comes a day that we must take up the brush and finish the work. For only we can determine if we are to be just another painting or a masterpiece..."

Hi Ron

Marcia has summed it up very well.  You've captured the spirit of Christmas very well.

Good luck in the competition.

Dear Maecia and Nina,
I really appreciate your comments and am now starting to feel Christmassy because of them.
As to the competition, long ago I informed Cleo that I prefer to remain out of the competitive world although I enjoy seeing my words in chapbooks.
Good luck to you and all the submitters in the competition.
Christmas cheers to all!
