Christmas List-Swap Quatrain

I have no list this Christmas year,
no games to ask...I have my share.
I only want a Princes' kiss
this Christmas year...I have no list.

A peck so sweet with tenderness
is all I need...I must confess
I have no use for gems petite
With tenderness, a peck so sweet.

Last year, I yearned a dozen blooms
to be the bride for handsome grooms
come only once in life I've learned
A dozen blooms, last year I yearned.

All Christmas day I'll wait for him
and hope that Santa fills my whim,
with kisses sweet to surely sway
I'll wait for him all Christmas day.

Hope you get your Christmas wish ! ~smile~ This was a tender, wistful poem. Just be careful what you wish for.....God has an unusual way of answering prayer......

and every person that crosses our path takes up the brush and makes their mark upon our surface.
So it is that we develop.
But we must realize there comes a day that we must take up the brush and finish the work. For only we can determine if we are to be just another painting or a masterpiece..."

Hi Girls...

Ah ha... Why thank you for the extra wishes...Now if I really knew what I was looking for in this nice charming man, I probably would have him already. I guess Santa is thinking -- OH goodness, there she goes sending in her list without specifics... wink.gif

And Mrs Santa is probably thinking... Hum... He's taken! LOL

Hugs Liz

Dear Relli,
Us guys know that we're putty in the hands of the right lady, so rather than wish for one of us, rather wish to be that right lady.
You've already had a Christmas wish fulfilled, I assume, to write an excellent swap quatrain.
Cheers,    ron   jgd

Hey Bethie, ... *zzzzzz... zzzzzzz

I bet ya, I can have him snoring and all... Mrs Santa's probably thinking to herself... "Sloppy seconds... on the crude side..." LOL

Wuv ya.... Lizarelli ...

Hi Ron,

Thank you for the lovely sentiment. I love the form, I find it brings out the inspired ideas that seem to lay dormant too long without the guidence of the form.

Now for being the right lady, I guess in the hands of the right man, I am the right lady--although I don't want putty, I can buy that at Toys r us... I want to share a life with this man, not mold him to fit mine. LOL Ok, maybe putty is better than jello

Do they make men like that anymore? ...

Hugs to you, Liz
