Reincarnation

Next!

John Green——Earth

You’re late!

I was held-up; boat people jumped the queue
between the Second and Third Universes.
The gatekeeper checking expiry dates,
unfortunately let them through, and five million
pushed-in, making me a day late.

Well that is unfortunate Mr. Green,
I’m afraid you have missed out reincarnating to the
First Universe. To-day everyone is going to the second.

What form do you wish to take?

A Giraffe.

Noooo…can’t do that. There are no Giraffes in 2U.
Tell you what—I’ll make you a Klunker.

What’s a Klunker?

A Klunker has a neck similar to a Giraffe and a body
not unlike a Hippopotamus.

Hmm… Ok.

Next!

Klunker—Oranje 2U

Oh! I’ve been expecting you; you’re a day early.
You were here two years ago.

Yes that’s right. I want to go to the First Universe as a Giraffe.
Neck chops are a delicacy in Oranje.

Hello John,

This was surprisingly comical. Love the approach, the dialogue and the ending made me chuckle in surprise.

Great read

Somewhere I read that you need to be a carnation before there is reincarnation.

Hoo noo?

The Lord replied, my precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.

"There is no life higher than the grasstops
Or the hearts of sheep, and the wind
Pours by like destiny, bending
Everything in one direction."

Oh yesss!

I chuckled muchly and thinked of giraffe chops we had years ago in the bush. And hippo meat - a succulent delicacy" (I'm not kidding)

Never tried the neck though, plates were always too short. Sliced elephant trunk is like steak with two holes in it. Recommended well grilled.

Going to 1U so is a tall order, what will you eat?

Cheers,

Wally

John, I had a few klunkers whilst in Germany, I think they were oranje fueled. I want to go to 2U and be a blarffle. Blarffles love Klunker neck chops with a hint of oranje taste like chinese shrimp and flied lice...l

This one was almost too strange even for me, Arnnie...Must have come from smokin' that bilabong filed with cola leaves and cactus parts.

Take care mate
Steve

G'day folkes

The Second Universe...Is...well, unusual. minniemouse.gif mickeymouse.gif pinkpanther.gif

On Oranje, there is an animal similar to a camel. The large mammal has not two humps, but four.
Well, they are not humps. They are upturned hairy one teated udders. Marvelous animal pinkpanther.gif
one can take refreshment on board whilst traveling in arid regions. They are called: Kundumblers.

I'am very pleased that Steve has run into the odd Blarffle or two during his overseas adventures.

Then, there's young Wally who has revealed a rapacious appetite for game meat. Zebra is a walking char grill on legs,
if one looks closely.

Then Merlin quite sensibly commented about horticultural aspect of the return journeys: the incarnation so to speak. pinkpanther.gif

And last, not to be missed; the lovely trio of ladies. The MM ladies, who toss the odd compliment, here and there.
I gladdens my heart to have been in your presense.

Thank you all.
