November's Pandora's CHAOS challenge has been posted. You realize that you've forgotten THREE key ingredients and that you've misplaced your recipe card. Write about the three ingredients you'll include in your dish or drink. The chaotic element being that you must include at least three words from a list of twelve. Visit Pandora at

A friendly reminder:
When you log into MM, please remember to check ‘New Messages’ in your member bar. You can either click on the ‘New Messages’ link in OR click the ‘My Assistant’ URL and the tab ‘recent PM’s’ both located in your member bar. While online, if a member sends you a PM, you will receive a pop open window to alert you of the new message in addition to the above.

Visit our ‘forthcoming calendar events’ at the bottom of the forum, located in the Board Statistics section. We’ve set the calendar to display the next 30 days of events. Simply click on the links provided for more information.

Is it COOL in here? Snowman.gif Snowflake.gif
Check out our newest skin: ChristmasSnow. I've made it our board default (what guests will see and members too when not logged in) for the holiday season. To use any of our other skins, just go to the bottom of the board, and on the far left side, choose from the pull down options whichever skin you fancy. Our normal board default is: "Mosaic". You can switch around your skin at any time when you are logged in. Enjoy!

Hot News Flash! holly.gif
The Mosaic Musings Administration has taken steps to become a forum participant in a major monthly competition called The IBPC (InterBoard Poetry Competition) which is hosted monthly by Web del Sol. The IBPC aims to bring continual growth, in both quality and popularity, of poetry on the Internet. We believe MM would be a great asset to that union and benefit on several levels. We also feel that the talent and quality of works posted at MM is worthy of a larger audience. More news to follow as we correspond with the IBPC and hope to become a future participating board. cheer.gif

"It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step into the Road, and if you don't keep your feet, there is no knowing where you might be swept off to." ~ J.R.R Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings

Collaboration feeds innovation. In the spirit of workshopping, please revisit those threads you've critiqued to see if the author has incorporated your ideas, or requests further feedback from you. In addition, reciprocate with those who've responded to you in kind.

"I believe it is the act of remembrance, long after our bones have turned to dust, to be the true essence of an afterlife." ~ Lorraine M. Kanter

Nominate a poem for the InterBoard Poetry Competition by taking into careful consideration those poems you feel would best represent Mosaic Musings. For details, click into the IBPC nomination forum.
