Hello everyone!

Our third annual holiday classic (MMHC) is only open for ONE MORE WEEK (through Nov 19th). Since we have not yet reached the max of FIFTY submissions, the member limit of 2 posts is no longer applicable. Members may submit as many entries as you like until we reach our target of 50, or the end date (whichever comes first). Submissions must be in the form of short stories (5000 words or less) or poems (any form), and must utilize the theme from one of the following holidays: Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Eid El-fitr and/or Winter Solstice. November's Pandora's CHAOS challenge has been posted. For this challenge, you are tasked with writing a response (poetry or prose) to: You're hard at work in the kitchen preparing [fill in the blank] for your holiday guests. You realize that you've forgotten THREE key ingredients and that you've misplaced your recipe card. Write about the three ingredients you'll include in your dish or drink. Hot News Flash!
The Mosaic Musings Administration has taken steps to become a forum participant in a major monthly competition called The IBPC (InterBoard Poetry Competition) which is hosted monthly by Web del Sol. The IBPC aims to bring continual growth, in both quality and popularity, of poetry on the Internet. We believe MM would be a great asset to that union and benefit on several levels. We also feel that the talent and quality of works posted at MM is worthy of a larger audience. More news to follow as we correspond with the IBPC and hope to become a future participating board.
