REVISION
Should I compare you to beauty ? like a rare field vision, restive with daisies to adorn your flowing hair, complexion smooth sigh straight forward. Deftly desired in the art of fulfilment

Hi Antony,
This is really short but beautiful. I love the line
with daisies to match your flowing hair,
although I'm not sure that 'match' is the right word choice here.

What a delicate poem, Antony. I feel it describes some fragile beauty, never mind who...the imagery is just right. Perhaps 'daisies to adorn your flowing hair'? Just sayin'... Syl

Thank you for your interest. A short poem, under 12 lines is very much an opportunity for word focusing. I wrote this poem, imagining I was younger, admiring a charming lady on her way to London, from Kent.

Very good, Antony.
I have a hard time writing short poems.

I see you revised a little, Antony.
I love coming back to see if anything has been changed, never mind who suggested it. Eisa prompted me to think of a word instead of 'match', so it's been a 2-lane highway...LOL.
Do bring more along, Syl
