Hi Cathy!
Congratulations!!! I loved this piece. :lovie:
In my mind I saw the "Lady Of The Lake", in distant Avalon. Holding the Holy Chalice and weeping for a long ago past that was simple and pure.
The words flowed easily with a wonderful rhythm and wistfuly portrayed the hope of a glistening future. Maybe even a blessing for mankind?
I thoughly enjoyed all of your word choices. I could just see the effervescent tears, filling the chalice. Made it sound as if the tears were as sparkling as champagne. :lovie:
This was a real treat to the eyes of my imagination, as well as a treat to read aloud. :sings:
Love ya's, Chris :wizard:

Hi Cathy ! :sun:
Beautiful, delicate imagery ! A real period piece, I love the progression of tears to fine wine, with the glass shattering at the end... or, in other words, the writer's heart... wow... :cloud9:
Congrats, Cathy !
