Time has carried me away into a distance from the core of who I am and what I have shared long ago with the founder and older members of this site..
I recalled a happier simpler time and I sought you out, realizing that through the chaos of my life , at that time, my connection to you all and the sharing of the magic in word expression is the true essence of me.
I hope to be a constant again..
Miss you all so much!
Dani

Dear Dani, It is so good to hear from again. I miss your work an your presence here. I really hope to see more of you - it is quiet here at the moment so having you around would liven things up a bit. I hope to read your work again soon. Hugs Snow

Dear Dani,
I have thought of you often through the chaos of my own life, believe me dear friend. And the chaos of the world around us, full of wars and changing scenarios that I would never have imagined during that "happier, simpler time" that you recall.
And I even thought of e.mailing you, but to my distress it never got past the thought...
I remember your lovely, sometimes distraught poetry...and wondered to what part of the world you'd moved.
Sharing your true essence with us all using the magic of word expression is something that I hope you'll renew as soon as possible. I look forward to your posts very much indeed.
As Eira has said, it's quiet here...a shame! Facebook seems to be the main culprit! Are you a member?
MM offers great critiquing and comments, I used to learn so much here.
I'm no longer a constant, but perhaps if some of us start posting again, part of the good times can be regained. I'm not very inspired, having lost my husband in January 2015, after a 15-year illness. I miss so much embracing him...

Dearest Sylvia, First off, I am truly sorry for your loss... I can understand the yearning for the warm embrace of a loved one...it is not easy, but would a cyber hug do? :) Well I live in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. My mo, grandma, aunts and uncles and their families are in Damascus and Beirut... This struggle for power has increased the death count to a level of normalcy that has become extremely inhumane... The stories and images I have heard and witnessed are crippling to the soul... The scenarios have changed. The souls have become harsher, deeply disturbed and unforgiving... And the problem is that it all happened just as people became more enlightened and appreciative of their differences in cultures, tradition and religion... I wish we would promote love... Let's promote love and understanding.... As for not being able to get past the thought of emailing me... Well your response here is more than enough to make up for all that. I have posted a webpage on Facebook showcasing my poems but honestly it's not the same... We must learn and must progress... So let's make an effort to recap the magic here... Hugs Dani

Oh my! Why HELLO Dani! It's SO good to see you here! YAY! MM has been quiet for some time and part of it my own fault. Lots of life changes and such and I had put the poetry writing on my back burner. It is good to see some old friends posting again and I shall make every effort to as well! Thanks for coming back and look forward to readind and interacting with you and all our lovely poets! Cheers, ~Cleo

Dani!! I'm so looking forward to reading your new poem. We've all missed your magic. So much has happened in all of our lives. Wars, loss, illness, cultural changes, un-forgiveness, tensions, frustrations, and on and on. Grieving and healing take time. Please encourage us to share as we once did... and I hope to emerge from Karnak to join others in real critique and sharing. Love in Light, Daniel

Hey Daniel,
I've been wondering where you were!!! So true. A lot has changed and has happened, but what comforts the mind is that love perseveres like it has here.
Waiting to interact.
Hugs Dani

Here is a Quatre-par-Huit (Four-by-Eight) poem to welcome our Siren home. May you have some peace in your life and in your country. This is only my second attempt at this form. I hope it meets with your approval. Each Cherished Line
Dani alone in strange new places which condone a level of barbarity and hate for those
who don’t comply with their beliefs. Replacing beauty to impose their way of seeing things that differ from the prophet’s laws. They chose conceptions which blaspheme the one they hold divine.
Mohammad left a life’s design; each cherished line.
Larry

Hello All~
I miss my MM times. Funny thing is, I made time for poetry, and MM, when I was most busy. Now, I have the time but, the emotion or muse is not there. Strange, but often one writes when in a particular frame of mind.
Syl, I am so sorry to hear your news. Why did you not share with all of us sooner? We may be poetry or pen pals but still can offer a lot of support and care.
I am hoping to get on poetry track again. Only tonight, my husband remarked that in 2014 & 2015, no poetry was/has been written. I have been taking pics though and commission pics, so I have been creative and having fun.
Take care all of you.
Hugs,
Bev

G'day Dani, Beverleigh et all.
Just dropped in for a wander...
There must be some psychic connection somehow... seeing we all dropped in about the same time.
I noticed Beverleigh was referred by Jox (a delightful character). Does anyone have any news of J.
Best regards to all.
Something I noticed "Daniel" is member No 6 and I thought I held a bit of seniority at number 17.
John
