DAYS OF DECEMBER

The days of December
sadly, never turn slowly,
sharing genial embraces
goes much too quickly.

Snowflakes are falling,
the bells are ringing,
in the village square
carolers are singing.

True believers or not,
no need to be alone,
join in, sound a chord,
a spirited, joyful tone.

Children’s hopeful wishes
are a pleasure to behold,
their pure, bright smiles
are as precious as gold.

Yuletide’s clock is ticking
don’t let time slip away,
cherish family and friends
now, and every passing day.
