The "Faerie Queene" for Spencer was his pet.
The form and style would ever take his name.
All poets, past and present owe a debt
to "Ed", who introduced his royal dame.
We know the reformation was his aim,
Elizabeth to honor and exalt...
And by the way his lines of nine became
a literary form devoid of fault,
above another queen, the sonnet, to assault.

Notes: Changed Feary to Faerie, TY PP & M
Added "and" to line 7 TY Cleo

Hi Ron~

Just a question-
Is it supposed to be Feary or Faery?

Well done Ron! claps.gif

You're one beat short here:
By the way his lines of nine became
but is easily rectified by adding an 'and' at the start.

Cheers
