Sylvia has asked me to write something in verse about a belief some folks apparently around the world hold that says one's enuciation of "White Rabbits" on the first of each month as the first thing said assures a month of good luck.
I'm seeking all your comments before attempting the verse.
Cheers, Ron jgd

The OPED article she sent me from the NY Times on the subject was the first that I'd heard of it myself, actually. Best wishes in your writing on the subject!

Hey Ron,

Just as Daniel mentioned, her email was the first I had ever heard of it...It actually was a short story, not really an article. It is an interesting superstition ...

If it was at all known, my mother and her Irish ways would have heard of it and mentioned it when we were growing up, but she never said anything like it so I don't think it was something that was common in the Northern area... Like NY, NJ, etc...

Did you read the story she sent by email? ... that might at least give some inspiration to writing something about it. wink.gif

Best Wishes, liz
