Around the chicken coop he'd prance,
his thinking wry and sly. Then to its roof a sudden glance- a cock against the sky... His brain began a baneful bent, his words were false and foul. "King Lion has a truce now sent", "No predator aprowl." The cock seemed pleased and looking far, he claimed a canine nearing. He'd tell that mutt those words bizarre but fox was disappearing! ·······  ······· |
