HOLIDAYS ARE FOR CHILDREN
The economy is barely alive, swine flu is the latest craze; now’s not the time to whine, or drown in hysteria’s malaise.
Politico’s dour contentions echo ill-tempered voices; at town meetings we debate health care’s public choices.
Red balloons, silver spoons, and colorful twinkling stars, children’s fairy tale wishes lie safe from parental scars.
Consumer concerns escalate as fuel prices slowly rise. Facebook, email and Twitter lead to greeting cards demise.
Ideologue’s divisive ramblings spawn hate crimes’ savagery; intolerance of differing beliefs remains a timeless mystery.
Candy canes, model trains, and cheerful, cherubic faces, children’s hopeful prayers gift us with loving embraces.
